Local New Orleans Balloon Professional Selected for the Big Balloon Build in the UK
Hundreds applied, only 75 were selected, for the chance to create an immersive balloon land out of 125,000+ balloons in Guildford to support the Surrey Charity Network

Guildford, UK  - Danielle Detiege owner of NOLA Party Boutique in New Orleans has been invited to join a talent team of the world’s best balloon artists to create an immersive Christmas Wonderland out of 125,000+ balloons in Guildford, UK this December to benefit the Surrey Charity Network. 

“We have more than 50 world-class balloon artists traveling from ten different countries to help make a difference through the joy of balloons. It will be the biggest balloon installation to have ever been done in the United Kingdom,” said Stuart Davies, Director of the Big Balloon Build. “This is the first time we will have worked to support multiple charities, which means a great deal to the Guildford community.”

The Big Balloon Build will take over the Charterhouse School’s sports centre and create the larger-than-life, holiday-themed exhibit out of 125,000 biodegradable balloons in just four days before opening it to the public to walk-thru and enjoy. All proceeds from the event will benefit charities in the Surrey/Guildford area that support local children. 

For the 4th time, Danielle Detiege is donating her time and talents as a balloon artist, bringing joy and aid to children. Danielle started NOLA Party Boutique in 2009. NOLA Party Boutique has been creating balloon decor for local and visiting clients since 2013.  Danielle was selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in the Big Balloon Build Guildford.

Danielle Detiege, owner of NOLA Party Boutique, has been selected as part of a talented team of international Balloon Professionals, tasked with creating a gigantic immersive Balloon World using more than 100,000 balloons all in aid of Inspiration Ministries and Inspired Coffee.
 
As part of one of the biggest most unique projects for the state of Wisconsin, working as part of the Big Balloon Build team, Danielle will be using the skills she has developed over the last 10 + years, to create larger-than-life animal characters in a gigantic Great Outdoors scene over 10,000 square feet (about twice the area of a basketball court).
 
This is all in aid of the charities, Inspiration Ministries, and Inspired Coffee. Their mission is to empower people with disabilities to live with greater purpose and achieve their individual best in the thriving environment. They do this by supporting people with a range of disabilities through job training, coaching and mentorship to assist in placement into a fully integrated work setting. 
 
Detiege along with 65 other Balloon Professionals from around the world will be leaving their businesses for five days to create this incredible project for children and adults with disabilities and help make an impact in the city of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Detiege is excited to contribute her creativity to help make a difference in the world.  Danielle Detiege had been chosen to participate in the 2 previous Big Balloon Builds in 2021 and 2022 and made a difference in the communities of Birmingham, UK (supporting United Way of Free@Last) and Kansas City, MO (helping Operation Breakthrough). And Danielle has been selected as a Team Lead for this Big Balloon Build!

As part of one of the biggest most unique projects, Danielle will be using her skills she has developed over the last 10 years to create a magical enchanted journey to Toyland with 65 other Balloon Professionals who will be leaving their businesses for five days to create this incredible project for children and family in need in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

Danielle Detiege, owner of NOLA Party Boutique has been selected as part of a talented team of international Balloon Professionals, to create a giant immersive balloon wonderland sponsored by Qualatex and using over 300,000 balloons for the Give Kids the World charity in Orlando.
 
As part of one of the biggest most unique projects, Detiege is leaving their business in New Orleans to   join a select group of balloon artists in Orlando between 11th and 15th July 2022.
 
Using her balloon skills, she has developed over the last 6 years, Detiege will be part of creating several fantastical themed areas such as Toyland, the Enchanted Forest and Under the Sea in an area of nearly 30,000 sq ft, with displays towering as high as 24ft in height. All to support the critically ill children from all over the World including Louisiana, providing the families with joyful moments that can lead to lasting memories, transforming the happiness into hope.
